Quartz Surfacing

Quartz counter tops are 93% quartz and 7% acrylic binding material which classifies it as a man-made product. We carry several different brands of quartz products, including Zodiac, Viatera, Silestone & Caesarstone. The difference between each of these brands is essentially their respective color palattes. When you are looking at quartz it has the feel and look of granite yet, as a composite material, it has a more consistent look throughout the slab. Quartz does not need to be sealed and comes with a factory warranty. (Usually 10 Years)

Granite

Granite is a natural stone. It has natural color variations from piece to piece. There are roughly over 400 colors to choose from. Some have grain patterns and some have more movement than others. If you are looking for something that is more custom, more one-of-a-kind – then granite is your better choice! Each slab comes from Mother Earth and is unique, which means you have a wide selection of colors and patterns to choose from! We recommend sealing your counter tops every year or so, depending on your color choice. We seal the granite before we leave with a water-based sealer. It is very easy to apply, which means you do not have to hire anyone to seal your counter tops; it is a wipe on / wipe off product.
